Our Story: the Food and Drug Administration

In June 2019, the FDA History Office installed a permanent exhibit exploring the agency’s history in Building 1 of the White Oak Campus in Silver Spring, MD.

The Our Story exhibit includes artifacts, images, films and multimedia displays that reflect three cross-cutting themes:

Science & Technology Law & Enforcement Education & Outreach

Krebiozen Analysis Team
NYC Imports Inspection
Hoxsey Public Warning Poster

Even if you are unable to visit the White Oak campus, you can share in the experience through several different digital resources.

Read more about the exhibit in this FDA Voices blog by Acting Commissioner of Food and Drugs, Norman Sharpless.
