Healthy People: A National Initiative

Healthy People is a national initiative to improve our nation’s health and well-being. Our center at the Food and Drug Administration takes a leadership role in food safety and nutrition under many national objectives for Healthy People.

Priorities for the Healthy People initiative reflect input from public health experts; federal, state, and local government officials; individuals; and thousands of organizations.
