The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) hosted a webinar to highlight best practices for the seafood industry and to help them comply with importing countries’ listing requirements for seafood establishments. For example, China, the European Union, and the United Kingdom have specific import requirements that seafood establishments must be listed as a precondition for market access. Please visit Seafood Exports to China, the European Union and the United Kingdom for more details.

The webinar included a demonstration of FDA’s Export Listing Module, an electronic system for receiving and processing requests from FDA regulated establishments that want to be on export lists. The demonstration included best practices for submitting and updating applications. A Q&A session followed the demonstration.
