Valerie Revier

Q1: How did your career begin at FDA?

Valerie Revier: TAs a military spouse for over 20 years, I have had to play hopscotch with my career, sometimes changing industries, and this job came up just when my husband was due to return from a 1-year remote tour. We were told he was not coming back to our last residence, so although I LOVED my job and the area, when the offer came to join the FDA/OTED, I took it. That was nearly 3 years ago!

Q2: What do you value most about working at FDA?

VR: I value that, in a small way, I can help the people around me do what they love. There are so many passionate people to keep me motivated to strive for the best work possible.

Q3: Are you a part of any Employee Resource Groups (ERGs)?

VR: HOLA

Q4: What advice would you give to an FDA job seeker?

VR: Reach out and talk to people all over the organization because there could be place for you.

Q5: When you're not at work, what is your favorite way to unwind?

VR: I love spending time with my three children, loving nicknames: Joy, Inspiration, & Motivation. If I am not with them, then I am with my husband enjoying a night by the fire, chilling in my hammock, or on vacation.
