Erin Brandt was appointed as director of the Office of Management at FDA’s Center for Tobacco Products (CTP) of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration in June 2024. She had been the deputy director of this office since August 2014. As director of the Office of Management, Ms. Brandt is responsible for overseeing administrative services to the center.

The Office of Management is responsible for providing a wide range of administrative services to CTP in areas including human capital, information technology, financial management, administrative management, acquisitions and grants, ethics, facilities, and risk management and analysis. Ms. Brandt joined FDA in 2013 as this office's Management Analysis Officer, and became the deputy director in 2014, a position she held until assuming her current role as acting director.

Prior to joining FDA, Ms. Brandt was a Management Analyst at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and worked for several non-profit organizations , including Global Philanthropy Alliance, World Resources Institute, and Habitat for Humanity as an Americorps VISTA.

Ms. Brandt holds a B.S. in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, and an M.P.P. in Public Policy from the University of Minnesota Humphrey School of Public Affairs.
