Enhance Equitable Data Efforts

OMHHE aims to enhance equitable data efforts by:

Increasing research studies to support evaluation of outcomes of FDA-regulated products by demographic data including, but not limited to, ethnicity, race, age, disability and geography.
Leveraging big data through research studies to advance novel data sources and artificial intelligence/machine learning options that contribute to the continued evaluation of the safety and efficacy of FDA-approved products (therapeutics, diagnostics, and vaccines) and products subject to EUAs/EUA expansion.
Increasing training for scientists from diverse communities to support health equity regulatory science needs.
