What Regulatory Associations does FDA partner with?
The Office of Domestic Partnerships (ODP) fosters partnerships with several State, Local, Tribal, and Territorial public health associations to achieve an Integrated Food Safety System. Eleven major state and local public health and regulatory professional associations comprise the Council of Association Presidents (CAP), whose outreach capacity extends to virtually all state and local public health officials. The leadership of each association participates in CAP meetings to keep the public health regulatory community informed of one another’s activities, and to coordinate with Federal partners in public health.
